We believe farmers in developing countries should receive a fair price for their coffee
This is why we only use coffee beans which carry the Fairtrade label or are direct trade. Too often poorer, weaker producers are exploited and dramatic drops in price paid to farmers over the last 10 years has meant that many have not had enough to eat, haven’t been able to send their children to school or afford basic health care.
By buying fairtrade you can help to ensure farmers always receive a fair price for their coffee, improving working conditions for workers, and providing education and support in gaining the knowledge and skills to operate successfully in the global economy.
We believe organic food is better for our bodies and our earth
Organic food (including coffee beans of course!) is grown without the use of nasty chemicals, which is good news for our bodies, the environment and our wildlife.
Products with the Australian Certified Organic symbol comply with stringent standards relating to healthy soil, nutritious crops and animal welfare. Fair Espresso sources fully certified organic produce where possible across its entire menu.
We believe in Fabulous Coffee
A great coffee starts with sourcing the best beans, the roasting process, the blend and finally the barista. At Fair Espresso we are serious about using the best methods to ensure your coffee tastes like a little cup of liquid gold.
We source our beans from Honduras, Peru and Mexico, to make a delicious blend best enjoyed with milk and single origin beans every few weeks for an extra special espresso or long black.
Fair Espresso uses the M39 GT Dosatron as its showcase espresso machine of choice. The Ferrari of the espresso machines, this baby is equipped with smart boiler technology, a sexy chrome body, and group thermal system designed for a perfect in-the-cup result.
For us, coffee making is an art form and we delight in the smiles of happy customers!
